Hi Im Carson, a 37lb Double Merle Australian Shepherd.
What is this "Smile for the camera" Well since I can't see well at all OR see what a smile or camera might be I just sat and looked at her, I think, I had just finished a full morning of playing with my buddies and romping around the yard, had a great big breakfast and thought, oh boy a nap sounds GREAT! That's when she woke me up. Now I'm not usually like that, but I just love my naps! You would too if you could nap like I do. I'm 1 year and 7 months old, I have impaired sight and possibly impaired hearing but there are no signs that my hearing won't develop.
So what would you like to know?
My Life so far? I LOVE my life so far and look forward to every new day. We believe I escaped from my family because I have very good manners. But they didn't look for me so Codys Friends Rescue scooped me up and here I am.
I have a completely perfect bill of health from the vet as of 7/25/2016. I know sit, stay and I've almost figured out down. We have to work on these with touch signs. I love to give kisses and play wrestle on the floor and above all I LOVE HUGS. I love to run with my pack and play in the dirt. I'm a sweet, lovable guy who just wants a family that will love me and challenge me to be the best I can be ( which means let me be the champion Guinness book of records for Lapdog) and never, I mean NEVER feel sorry for me. I don't, and never plan to.
All someone has to do is meet me and you'll be captivated by my marshmallow like lovability. I'm really not that different than any other dog, you just have to be more aware of my safety and I can't follow you without a leash unless we are in our yard. I am very good at learning area designs. I am crate trained but I'd rather be allowed to run around the house. I bark when I need to go out.
Please feel free to submit a preadoption contract and you will get directed to my foster mom with any questions you might have. She just LOVES to talk about me and I LOVE the belly rubs she gives "
