Tiffany's Story...
Meet Tiffany! Tiffany is new here, so our caretakers are still learning about her personality. This lovely pibble is around 3-years-old and was transferred from another shelter. She is a big, strong girl who would love a home that can enjoy her incredibly wonderful personality! She is very sweet, knows how to sit on command and will take treats gently if you ask her to. We are not yet sure how she is with other dogs, cats or kids. Tiffany is so ready to become a loving member of the family - could it be yours?

As we get to know her, we will let you know Tiffany is available and able to have applications submitted once you've met. For more information, please give us a call at (302) 571-0111 or visit us at our center (701 A Street Wilmington, DE) Tuesday-Friday 12-7pm or Saturday & Sunday 12-5pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiffany, a Wilmington Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
