Saffron is the spiciest of the spice colony. She and Carob remain of their two litters, and the two are close. Yet Saffron (or Miss Sassy Pants, as her foster mom likes to call her) will growl and hiss to let others know to leave her alone...even though she is very playful and just doing this to be the princess that she is! She is never mean, just quite vocal!
Saffron is also the life of the party, so to speak. She will play with every toy at least once and find new ways to do so. She is always first to come to her foster mom, even when playing, and loves human attention as well as cuddling with foster siblings. She also gets into EVERYTHING, so should not go to a home with young children or where there are lots of things that could be broken. She used to jump on backs from long distances, but has stopped doing that as she has grown older. Her personality is, well, sparkly is the best way to describe it. You can see Saffron playing with some of the others in the following videos:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-JlWW51NQR0 Saffron and best friend/cousin, Carob, are playing in the box. They have so much fun, and you have a chance to see Saffron's face and Carob's beautiful markings! They are about 7 and 7.5 months in the video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uiL96PJ8t0 Carob is on top of kitty tree with Saffron in the middle, then down they come. Carob runs down and up the stairs with Neesi at the bottom of the stairs. You can also see their older foster brother, Sundance, overseeing the play.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22wKPFuiMNU At the beginning, you will see Saffron run up stairs and into the living room, then back out as Carob runs in. Neesi will come from behind a chair and you can hear her trill. Bess then follows Neesi out and stands looking around.

Saffron is very loving and needs her people time as well as her playing with other kitties time. As she has grown, we have come to believe that she could be considered to go to a home as an only cat, although it would still be best if she went with cousin, Carob. Carob is more laid back compared to Saffron's incessant curiosity constantly leading her into new situations. But Saffron is an absolute delight. **It is important that if you are considering Saffron, you be in a home where she can be observed until you know what she is going to try and pull.
