Saffron is the spiciest of the spice colony. With cousins Anise and Carob, and foster sister, Bess, Saffron rules the roost--and she is not the oldest! If one of the others does something she does not like (or if she thinks they are doing something), she will let them know. It happens most often during canned food time. Saffron is not naughty, she is just bossy!

Saffron is also the life of the party, so to speak. She will play with every toy at least once and find new ways to do so. She is always first to come to her foster mom, even when playing, and loves human attention as well as cuddling with foster siblings. You can see them playing in the following videos:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOKVxEBlpmc    Saffron is rubbing herself on the carpet  by her foster mom.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uiL96PJ8t0   Carob is on top of kitty tree with Saffron in the middle, then down they come. Carob runs down and up the stairs with Neesi at the bottom of the stairs. You can also see their older foster brother, Sundance, overseeing the play.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=22wKPFuiMNU    At the beginning, you will see Saffron run up stairs and into the living room, then back out as Carob runs in. Neesi will come from behind a chair and you can hear her trill. Bess then follows Neesi out and stands looking around.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XeWt2ncL70U   Carob plays with Saffron. Then we see Sundance watching them. Neesi and Bess go by the birdcage. Then kitties are running! And back up the tree after seeing Sundance again.

Saffron is very loving in her own time. She is also an alpha personality. Although there is a possibility she could be an only kitten, there is a good chance she would find trouble to get into without someone to play with.

About Purr-Fect Match Animal Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Mission statement:
Purr-Fect Match Animal Rescue is dedicated to the sanctity of all living things and their inherent right to a happy, healthy, and humane life.

It is our mission to 1) help people keep their pets through guidance, non-monetary support, and education, 2) provide a service to find the perfect home for homeless, transient, and transitional domestic animals, and 3) provide a limited foster home structure for abandoned domestic animals.

Our Adoption Process...

A potential adopter must complete an application. It will be sent to the Board of Directors for approval. Upon approval, a home visit is done (either with or without the animal(s)). If all goes well, the animal will stay at the home. There is a two-week probationary period where either the adoptive parents or the foster parents can determine the animal should not stay. If this happens during the two weeks, adoption fees are returned. At the time of the adoption, a contract is signed. The adopter is given a full medical history, microchip information, etc. If applicable, a microchip transfer fee will be attained. The adoption fee for a kitten is $75. Any additional kitten is $25. A cat (1 - 6 years) is $40. Additional cat (1 - 6 years) is $20. Senior cats (7 and above) are $20. Puppies (up to 1 year) are $250. Dogs (1 - 6 years) are $150. Senior dogs (7 and above) are $100. Tax of 5% will be added to all adoptions within the state of Wisconsin.
