Her former owners left her at the shelter on Nov. 10th and labelled her as "animal aggressive". That is a very unfortunate label for an animal in a municipal animal control facility. It sounds like maybe Mama is a strong-willed female. We don't really know the circumstances that led to this label. A lot of dog people like to observe dogs and make their own decisions on the dog. Owners can provide solutions and set their animals up for success, or owners may unconsciously be allowing or even encouraging unwanted behaviors. Again, we don't know specifics about this case. Dogs that get enough exercise and are physically and mentally stimulated are usually happier, calmer, and therefore get along with other animals better. We encourage you to come meet Mama, she sure does love people! Mama has a face you can fall in love with. Mama, Mama, many worlds I've come since I first left home.
She is house trained and micro-chipped. She will be spayed and heartworm tested upon adoption. Mama is in Run 18 and her ID is 590233.
