Sweet, sweet Dixie has found her way to our rescue from a shelter in a near by State. She is one of the most loving dogs we've ever taken in. She might be around 5 years of age, very well behaved indoors and will be your forever shadow. She absolutely loves her human companions, it was love at first sight!!!  She does enjoy the company of her 6 year old husky foster brothers, they mostly just patrol the acreage and hang out and chase the squirrels. She would probably love a home with another dog her age or older, not sure she likes those that are super rambunctious, can't blame her. She's one in a million, happy-go-lucky, easy going, will be the forever love of your life, the one you've been waiting for. Come out and meet this precious girl!!!

About Releashed Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Releashed Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing working dogs from high-kill shelters, rehabilitating those that need training and rehoming them into permanent loving homes.

Releashed Rescue will provide food, shelter, basic necessities, medical treatment including shots and spay or neuter, and work to train any animal going through our program. Our goal is to find the right family to love and care for the animals for their lifetime.

Releashed Rescue has a vision of a world where animals are not killed because they are inconvenient. Instead, we hope to educate the public about pet over-population, spay , neuter, humane treatment of animals and how animals can enrich the lives of people including the elderly, children and those with disabilities.

Our Adoption Process...

The way the adoption works is you complete an application, which we review. If you have had previous pets (like a cat or other dogs) we do a vet check to ensure they are up to date on shots etc. Then the last step is a home visit to basically ensure there are no obvious dangers for the dog in the home. The fee is $300.
