Zuma's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Zuma's Story...
Zuma is a very handsome fun strong and energetic Akita malamute shepherd mix Who lost his family suddenly. He was going to Be killed in the shelter and rescue picked him up. He is about one year old and weighs about 95 pounds. He is totally vetted and healthy and heartworm negative and a very sweet boy. Zuma would do best with basic training. He loves to run in the yard and would love a very playful dog friend and a fenced in yard. An active family would be a plus. But at the end of the day he just wants to snuggle with you and cuddle. He is ready for his new family.
Because of his size and strength we do not recommend small children. Kids 8 years and older are ok.

Our organization and dogs are located in Georgia but we have rescue transport available every weekend to the northern states.

His adoption fee is $ 375 which includes transport cost, all vaccines, heartworm test, neuter and micro chip

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zuma, a West Springfield Akita/Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Akita/Mastiff for sale in West Springfield, or seeking a Akita/Mastiff dog from a breeder in West Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Akita/Mastiff breeders who help with Akita/Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
