Description:

Zoya Anya is a kitty who has experienced a tremendous amount of change in only a few short years.  Zoya was born in May of 2010.  She was adopted but returned just about a year later in November of 2013.  Her adoptive family's lives changed to where they could no longer have a cat due to a new baby.  So, she returned to the rescue and was cherished by her foster family.  She was adopted again a few months later.  Sadly, she was returned yet again.  You see, Zoya, prefers things to stay constant and her last family moved around a lot (due to no fault of their own).  Zoya found all the news home, smells, locations to be overwhelming and was beyond stressed.  She needs one place to call home.

Zoya is finally ready for that forever home (3rd time is the charm, right?).  She has a sparkling, gray blue coat and beautiful soft green eyes.  She is not only incredibly bright but also playful.  She is a kitty who loves to chat with her family.  She does need a chance to get to know people before she will safe around them.  Zoya has a wide variety of toys that she enjoys and will go home with her along with a huge cat tree.  Zoya's ideal home would be on the mellower side with older or no children.  She wants predictability.  Zoya is also hoping you will continue to understand her very distinct preferences.  She likes fine clumping clay cat litter.  She loves Friskies Party Mix Crunch Cat Treats and can hear the bag open from across the house. She loves to climb to the top of her cat tree and assess the situation.  If you are looking for a fiercely loyal, affectionate kitty with just a bit of sass, Zoya's your girl.

Dogs:  Unknown
Cats:  Zoya would be content as an only kitty or another kitty who is mellow and keeps to itself.
Kids:  Older children, if any.

Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested, receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption

About Saving One Life

About Our Rescue Group...

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, no kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

We primarily work with cats and kittens of all ages. We frequently take in "behavioral cases" including semi-ferals needing rehabilitation. We do take in purebred cats of all kinds but specialize in the Cornish Rex and Devon Rex. We occasionally have small dogs to medium dogs available. The majority of our animals come from the euthanasia list at the pound or off the rescue list at the humane society. We do have occasional owner surrenders, but we prefer to help those most in need first.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidently got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our cats & kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, blood tested for felv/fiv, dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fee's range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely no kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care. Our animals all live in homes with foster parents so that they can be acclimated to all sorts of situations and so that they can live as a part of a family until finding their "forever family" instead of in kennels or cages.

Come Meet Our Pets...

A few of our fabulous cats and kittens can be seen at 2860 E Germann Rd, Chandler, AZ 85286. Call the store or email if you are looking to see if a particular one may be there, otherwise with a completed application we are happy to schedule an appointment with any of the animals in foster homes.

When contacting to find out about a cat/kitten emails are ALWAYS preferred and will get a much faster response. If you are leaving a phone message please speak clearly, leave your name, the name of the animal you are interested in, phone number and a brief message.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process begins with our application which can be found at www.savingonelife.org. After you submit an application please expect a response within 48 hours - please email if you do not get a response in that time frame. We may ask for a phone interview as well if we have additional lengthy questions. We may require home visits for special needs animals on a case by case basis. If you visit a kitty at Petsmart and want to adopt please either submit an application online or in person at the store with one of our volunteers.

We will adopt to out of state adopters but we do NOT ship animals under any conditions. You must come to us in person to meet the animal and make sure it is a mutual match. We have had many adopters come from the states around us and drive or fly with their new family member back.
