A Little Bit About Me

Remi has a real Terrier attitude towards life; he would like to engage in whatever is fun. Toys, nice dogs (prefers them his size), people, exploring, you name it.

Because he is not fond of being handled in certain ways, we think he should live with adults only. He can be quick to judge, although he can learn to tolerate more with your help. Same goes with his possession of objects and foods of value. He is willing to trade but needs to become consistent at it before youngsters or less dog savvy people might approach him when these items are around.

He seemed to like dogs his size best, so he could be happy to be a second dog in your home. Please bring your dog in to meet him if you are considering adopting him.

Remi needs to learn some basic skills while tightening his bond with his people. He is mature but young enough to have a bright future. Bring him to Small Dog Classes and enlighten him with the interactive work. Try him out in Scenting, check out Agility. So much to see and do!

Remi is a great dog for a savvy family who will exercise and train him without using dog parks to do your work for you. He is just adorable, fun and ready to fill an empty spot in a new home.

About North Bay Canine Rescue & Placement

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
