Elvis is such a sweet puppy at 10 months old. He is super affectionate, warm and wonderfully friendly! He is learning the basics while here with us and boy is he doing great! We're working with him on polite leash manners and he'll need someone to help continue his training. He is all about treats, play-time and love. Elvis loves playing with toys, especially squeaky toys! Elvis likes playing with other dogs and has a bouncy & energetic play-style. He would like to live in a home with children ages teen & older.

I am a neutered male, brown and black mastiff and pit bull terrier.

I am estimated to be about 10 months old.

I weigh approximately 71 pounds.

I have been at the shelter since 08/13/2016.

About North Bay Canine Rescue & Placement

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
