Eugene is a friendly, loving, happy Chihuahua mix who is approximately 3-4 years old, and around 12 pounds. He really likes other dogs, enjoys human companionship and would love a home where he could be your best buddy. Eugene is housebroken and well behaved in the home. He struggles being crated away from his family, so he will do best in a household where people are home more often.

Eugene is currently in a foster home with another Chihuahua and two loving adults. He has made himself at home and is enjoying the pampered life of a little dog.

This dog has been examined by a licensed veterinarian, tested for Heartworm Disease, inoculated against diseases, dewormed, neutered, and microchipped. ADOPTION APPLICATION is available for online completion and submission through our website -

A Caring Place - All Breed Dog Rescue adopts throughout the Greater Chicagoland Area. All dogs and puppies live in foster homes, providing you as the adopter, with information on the animal's behaviors, needs, and requirements. We are always in search of fosters care providers. If you are one of those special people willing to open your heart and home to an animal in need and would like to receive information on how you can foster an animal, please contact us.

About A Caring Place - All-Breed Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

A Caring Place, is an All Breed Dog Rescue organization that is exclusively foster based (no facility) and is volunteer run. We rescue dogs and puppies from animal control facilities, dog pounds, and other shelters where they are at risk of euthanasia; each dog receives all medical care and treatment necessary to be healthy, and then place them into loving temporary homes (foster homes) until adopted. Without our foster care provider's, we could not save these dogs.

FOSTER CARE PROVIDERS are always needed!

Our Adoption Process...

Adult dogs are fully vetted at the time of adoption. That includes neuter/spay, inoculations against Rabies, Distemper, Bordatella, and Leptospirosis. In addition, the dogs have been wormed, tested for Heartworm Disease and placed on monthly preventative, plus microchipped. ADOPTION FEE: $300.*

Puppies are vaccinated with age appropriate inoculations, dewormed, neutered/spayed, and microchipped prior to adoption. Because puppies require multiple inoculations, the ADOPTION FEE is $350.*
