Look at sweet Sandi, she was dumped on a country road and was skin and bones with two babies in tow.  She has put on quite a bit of weight and looks so much better now. She is only about a year and a half old.  She had a "light positive" heartworm test result and has been started on treatment.  She will be rechecked next week.  If she is still on treatment when she goes home that will be sent home with her.

She is spayed, current on shots and micro-chipped.  The best guess is that she is a Black Mouth Cur.  She gets along with other dogs except for feeding time and if the other dog goes near her food she does get upset about it - we are assuming this is due to her previous lack of available food for her and her babies.

We do not know if she is housebroken as she has been living outside.  She is a sweet girl who deserves a great life.
