My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sydney #16-490. Arrived 9/15/2016 at 6 months old.
Sassy #16-488. Arrived 9/15/2016 at 6 months old
Sydney has the distinguished white on her chest and muzzle and Sassy is a beautiful solid brindle.
Sydney and Sassy are two of three sisters that we took from a property that was being boarded up. The first sister was adopted and is thriving in her forever home. Sydney and her sister Sassy remain. They need to find a home together. Sassy relies on Sydney to be brave. These girls were not socialized as pups while growing up and coming to the shelter at a critical time during social development was a difficult one for them. The girls are very attached and bonded with most of our staff members and some of the volunteers. Sydney is the first to investigate and say hello to new people. Sassy watches closely from a couple of feet away and when she see how much Sydney enjoys it, then she comes to say hi also! Both girls will need support to learn about how much there is going on in their world outside of the shelter. Our staff has dedicated an enormous amount of time to get these young dog acclimated to life outside of the yard they came from where they only ever saw one person in their lives. Sydney and Sassy have the potential in the right nurturing environment, to develop into dedicated family members.
