There's nothing quite like young energy and silliness...and then they lie quietly on your shoulder breathing their warm doggie breath. They're so pure and vulnerable that it's unbearable to think that they're homeless in rural Texas.

Farfel's was told about the great personality and over- the- top cuteness of this special puppy and made the decision to help Paris find her first ever forever family. She deserves a great home and loving guardian just as much as any other sweet pup with a great temperament.
Please note - the only photo that was made available to us in no way showed the cuteness and irresistible personality of this special puppy . We've requested a better, clearer photo but haven't received it at this point.

Paris, at just 8 weeks old and 3.2 lbs, was facing the possible end of her life just as it was beginning. ...she was rescued just in the nick of time. This sweet and engaging mix (an up and coming designer breed that's loved for it's super-soft coat and engaging personalities) is starting out with great energy...the excellent results of her temperament-testing ended with a transport ticket to Colorado and a new life. Paris is also very beautiful...with the gorgeous, shining and cottony-soft coat that speaks of her breed mix.

Paris is appropriately playful and inquisitive for her young age. She's so smart and very engaging...so typical of these breeds. She's also bright and so loving (loves to cuddle in your lap-but watch out..puppy energy may call). Paris clearly has no memory of her scary early life. Since Paris is such a young girl, she's a blank slate just waiting for a kind and patient human to show her the way. She has all the potential in the world to be an awesome companion. Paris will form firm bonds with her family (as well as other dogs and humans) and learn positive socialization skills through being exposed to many different situations out in the world such as puppy kindergarten and positive reinforcement group Obedience Classes. It does take a bit of time and commitment...yet pays off a thousand times over when you have a dog that can accompany you in the outside world with appropriate behavior.

We're very open to Paris finding her forever home with active retirees with lots of time and energy to train and enjoy a young dog. Paris is known to love children and therefore a family with kids would also be perfect for her. Roughhousing with other dogs is always very fun for Paris...she'd love another playful dog to run and tumble with.

Paris is up to date on her vetting, but has yet to be spayed. We're hoping that she'll be fixed when she arrives from Texas, however a puppy like Paris is often deemed too young to fix. If this is the case, Farfel's will cover all costs for Paris to be spayed and micro chipped at our vet in Denver to be in line with our commitment to be a part of the solution to pet overpopulation.

Paris will be arriving on transport in Boulder on 11/22/16. If interested in this beautiful and very sweet companion, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730.

About Farfel's Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We own a pet boutique named Farfel's Farm on Pearl Street in Boulder, CO. We have had the good fortune to find our niche in the Boulder community and experience success. We felt it very important to "pay it forward" in gratitude for our good luck. We couldn't think of a better endeavor than to save dogs who were out of time in the southern states, yet had been identified with great temperaments. We dedicate our efforts to their good health and ultimate wonderful, permanent homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Pets are transported from the southern states approximately twice per month. Almost 100% of the time, the dogs are spoken for as a result of adoption applications that can be referenced under Adoption at farfelsrescue.com. We study the applications. If the app indicates there is a match, followed up by a home visit and reference checks, the process moves to the next step. The adopter is committing to a 2-week foster (of course the dog can be returned at any time prior), and can then choose to finalize the adoption.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adoptions start out as a 2-week mandatory foster period. During that time, Farfel's covers all vet issues if one of Farfel's rescue vets is used. We also serve as a support with trainers and behaviorists on board for questions. An Adoption Application and an Adoption Contract must be completed before any dog can begin their 2-week foster. Our average adoption fee runs about $395. This amount serves to cover vetting, spay/neuter, all vaccinations, heart worm testing, temperament testing and transport. Our dogs come from Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and rural Colorado.
