Facts about Mochi

  • Breed: Domestic Mediumhair
  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Senior
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 217314
  • Hair: Medium
Mochi is a beautiful black cat who has come to us when she was unhappy living with the other cat in the household. In her short time here, we have found Mochi to be a sweet, gentle cat who has a playful side but enjoys the easy life. Since she wasn't happy sharing space with another cat. she would probably be happiest as the one and only feline in your home.

To make a smooth transition into your house, Mochi should be given a small quiet room where she can settle in. Make sure she has everything she needs: food, water, litter box, scratching post, a comfy bed or basket and perhaps a few toys. Visit Mochi often in her room so she has a chance to get to know you. She is an affectionate girl so she should soon be looking forward to your visits. When you feel Mochi is comfortable in her room and with you, let her venture out to explore more of your home room by room. Do this under your supervision and give her the freedom to return to her comfort zone in case she needs access to her litter box or seems overwhelmed.

There is something to be said about adopting an older cat. Our girl, Mochi is calm and sweet and looking for a place to call home. Her former owner said a perfect day for Mochi would be sleeping until 9:00 AM, eating breakfast, strolling around the house, watching some birds through the window, having dinner and then taking another snooze or two. Does this sound like the kind of feline companion you are looking for? If so, spend some time with this pretty girl. You won't be disappointed.
