found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Meet Daniel (Dani). Dani is about a year and a half and was found as a stray. We really have no idea what breed she is. She has a small frame and is only about 35 lbs. She may have some whippet in her??
This darling girl starts off extremely frightened in a new environment. She squats to the floor, shakes and tucks her tail as tight as she can. It truly pulls at your heartstrings and you can't help but feel sorry for her. This original behavior is why we are looking for a kind and patient owner. Dani needs time to feel comfortable and safe.
Once Dani feels safe, her true personality will show. She is actually very affectionate and loves to give kisses. She likes to sleep in bed at night and really loves to play with other dogs! Another dog in the home is required as she needs a canine companion to show her ropes and help her feel safe. She is still young and has some energy. She loves being outside and running around to play.
Dani has become a happy go-lucky girl in foster care. She is submissive to other dogs and understand the queues when it's time for her to settle down. She is now 100% house-trained and will do her business outside come rain, snow or shine! She is not a diva an isn't afraid to get wet or dirty. She is actually a very fun girl to be around and she is more than willing to share her happiness!
Dani is crate-trained and is crated when her foster mom is not home. She goes right in and waits for her treat.
She does like to sleep in bed or at least in the room where you are (once she trusts you and knows she is safe).
Dani cannot have any negative energy or treatment. She cannot be yelled or be in a negative environment. It will set her back a couple steps in her healing process to feel safe. She is also not a dog (not YET) that you would immediately take to places. She is afraid to leave the house and just needs to continue with our work to slowly introduce her to regular life outside the home. She is still getting used to wearing a harness and walking on it. When she is scared, she'll freeze and crouch to the ground.
Despite her fear of being a companion, she is NOT, in any way, nippy or has ever shown any aggressive what-so-ever. She always takes the "flight" response instead of "fight".
Because of her fears, we also don't feel a home with boisterous children would work in her benefit. So we are really looking for a someone with a true loving, compassionate hard to show Dani how wonderful it can be to be loved in a warm, comfortable, indoor life.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application located at
All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and are given a monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter.
THE SUBMISSION OF YOUR APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN ADOPTION NOR DOES IT OBLIGATE YOU TO ADOPT. Multiple applications are accepted for any available pet and a home is chosen that is the best match between the available pet and the potential furever family. Your application will be processed as quickly as possible and if approved, a home visit would be scheduled. No adoption is final until an Adoption Agreement is presented and agreed to by both parties.
Our goal is to find the right match of our dogs to their new family so all involved are furever happy! Questions: email firstname.lastname@example.org
And THANK YOU for considering a rescue dog for your family!
