Atticus is a neutered pot-bellied pig. He was born June 22, 2014. He was surrendered to us, when his family split up and moved away. Atti weighs around 80lbs and is full grown. Atticus is about 80 lbs. He is a lover and will flop for a belly rub once he is used to you. He likes to relax in the house when everyone else is outside. He gets along with most of the pigs and is fully housebroken. To be able to adopt Atticus, you must have strong vet references and live in a community that is zoned to keep mini pigs as pets. Atticus is an indoor/outdoor pig and needs to remain as such. Adoption fee is $100. APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT REQUIRED LOCATION: KENTUCKY Pig Rescue Mafia, Inc. is a national foster based rescue. Each of our pigs listed are in the care of a foster family. You can apply to adopt by visiting our website www.pigrescuemafia.com. Each applicant is required to provide vet reference, zoning information and allow for a home visit. Adoption fees are individualized for each pig. Each adoption fee, allows us to provide needed vet care to ready a pig to travel. Any remaining funds go towards helping the next pig in need.
Pig Rescue Mafia, Inc is a Registered Non Profit (not yet 501c3) dedicated to assisting unwanted pet pigs, exotic and farm animals, find forever loving homes. We work as a nationwide foster based rescue and rely on donations to provide needed vet care for animals in our care.
Our Adoption Process...
We require an adoption application, educational interview, home visit and meet and greet. Additionally adopters are required to show proof of zoning laws in their community and locate a specialized vet, prior to adoption.
