Vincent's Story...
My name is Vincent, and I am just the coolest cat ever! I am a big (12-pound), dapper tuxedo boy with a dark, steely-gray coat with white mittens, blaze, bib, tummy, and boots who was born in October 2013. I am Mr. Personality because I do funny things like hang out in the sink and pull myself along the stair banister. I don't know why that I think it's fun, but it is. You might find me sprawled belly-up on the floor because I'm just inviting a belly rub. I'm just a happy-go lucky fella who's all-round playful -- I love people and get along great with other cats in my foster home. The foster dogs scared me a little a first, but I got used to them after awhile.
I and am lucky to be here. A Good Samaritan found me as a stray and then realized I had a tipped ear. This means that someone in my past must have neutered me and released me back out to fend for myself. I really don't remember, but it doesn't matter! My recent rescuer realized that somewhere along the way I must've been someone's pet because I'm just too outgoing and friendly to be a feral cat. So Buster's Friends took me in because they know I need a safe home to call mine forever.
So as much as I love my foster home, I've decided that I deserve a loving forever home! If you just happen to be searching for a cool dude, give me a chance to show you how I'm more fun than a barrelful of monkeys. Everyone needs a kitty like me who will put a smile on your face with my spectacular antics. Come meet me today!
Vincent is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vincent, a Houston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
