Topaz's Story...
This beautiful girl is Topaz and she is looking for a loving, responsible and permanent home. Topaz is a high energy girl who's always on the go whether it be playing with the ball or going on long walks/hikes. She will definitely need an active family who will be able to give her the physical and mental stimulation she needs. No couch potatoes for this busy gal.Topaz likes other dogs and would be okay with another dog in her home. They will have to meet in order to ensure they are a good match. She may be able to live with a confident cat but since we have no history we can't be to sure what her previous experience with cats may have been. She's a loving affectionate dog that could live with respectful children 8 and older. She can be a bit jumpy but she seems easily trainable. If you are interested in meeting Topaz, please fill out an application at the front desk.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Topaz, a Bellingham Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
