Facts about Lady

  • Breed: Miniature Mix
  • Color: Bay
  • Age: Senior
  • Size: Small
  • Sex: Female
Lady is a beautiful senior mini horse looking for a happy retirement home. Lady came to WHS after suffering years of neglect. She arrived at our farm facility underweight and suffering from extensive issues with her hooves. After emergency treatment from equine veterinarians and a wonderful farrier, she is feeling better and slowly recovering. She still moves around a little slowly due to her club foot, but with continued and regular farrier care and corrective shoeing on her injured hoof she will continue to improve. Even in her current condition, Lady doesn't let life slow her down. She is super sweet with people and other animals and LOVES to give kisses! Due to age and health and the fact that she is still a bit underweight, she would do best in a home with a cozy barn and soft bedding. A home with the financial resources to provide for her continued care is necessary. Lady would love to have an equine friend in her new home, big or small. If you would like to give a home to this tiny girl with a big heart, please contact farm@whatcomhumane.org
