A volunteer writes:
Got toys? Good. Got lots and lots and LOTS of toys? Even better. Of course I don''t mean toys for you. Once you meet 11 month-old Kiko you''ll never want for entertainment again. Kiko is a barrel of laughs in the most wonderful petite and beautiful package. A silver nugget in her spacious kennel I''m immediately drawn to her sweet, angelic face. And right from the start - the games begin. The moment I swing open her cage door Kiko''s ready for play and lets me know in a flash. Leashing a pup can often be pretty standard business but not when your tiny subject jumps and paws and twirls and springs! Yes Kikotakes a simple leash and turns it into a reluctant but ultimately abiding dance partner. And watching it go down you can''t help but laugh and laugh. Eventually business wins out and we''re off for our walk and little Kiko sparkles like the star that she is. `Awwww!` countless passersby exclaim, so many that eventually I''m forced to lose count. When it comes time for pictures once again, Kiko''s has made other plans. They involve her, you, and toys, toys, TOYS! With Mr. Parrot quickly becoming her new number one pal. Kiko''s previously lived with young children and spent time with different pups of all sizes just confirming once and for all this beauty''s social butterfly claim. Yep, this bite-sized sweetheart is the perfect cure for winter''s blues. Kiko''s waiting in adoptions at Manhattan''s ACC.
