These two black coated boys, born 8/27/16, may look the same but look closely.

Watts is extremely playful and sometimes I think he does not know how to slow down. So far he is not much for being held but that may change in time. He may look like his brother but if he lifts up his chin you will see a white star high on his chest which his brother does not have. He is affectionate and giving to a fault. So if you are looking for a cat that is playing and caring, here he is.

Wagner is just as playful as his brother but does not have the white star but there are a few white hairs on his chest. He also has the ability to be picked up and held where he will lay there purring. When I am sitting on the floor he climbs up my back and rests on my shoulder or stands up his paws on the back of my head.

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wagner, a North Highlands Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in North Highlands, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in North Highlands.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Highlands already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Highlands breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Highlands paves the way for another one to be saved.
