DEXTER is my name and I am approximately 4 months old.  I am a very happy little boy and I am in the process of recovering from Demodex Mange (not at all contagious).  If that was not bad enough, I also have yeast infections in both ears and on my entire body as well.  I don't have much hair but it will grow back.  I'm not ready to go to a forever home just yet but please apply to adopt me so in about 30 days, when I am ready, I have a real home to go to.  The link to the adoption application is:  http://petstablished.com/adoption_form/2602/generic.

To give you a little more information about me, I was surrendered to the shelter by my owner.  My owner tried a few home remedies when they noticed my hair was falling out but they didn't work.  They never took me to the vet so I just got worse and worse.  Because of my mange, I am not yet neutered but no worries!  I will be neutered prior to adoption and I will also be microchipped and registered to my new family at the time I get to leave here.  I like my foster mom a lot but she has 5 dogs here already and says I can't stay because I am too cute and need a home where I will get more attention.  I give her and the other dogs lots of kisses, sit in my foster moms lap and sleep sometimes and I am crate and housetrained as well.  I'm a really good boy!  Please take me home with you.

About Whispers of the Forgotten "WOOF"

About Our Rescue Group...

Mission Statement:
The purpose for which this corporation was formed is to provide animals that would otherwise be euthanized a chance at a full and happy life. We rescue animals from high kill shelters in the North and South, strays and some owner surrenders. It is our intent that these animals be rehabilitated both physically and mentally, shown love and compassion, and then be re-homed into forever homes. We are also dedicated to educating the public on the need for proper care for all animals, including but not limited to spay/neuter, vaccines & heartworm prevention.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of our animals are in foster homes. Once the application process has been completed, a meet and greet can be scheduled. We also offer live streaming of our animals.

Our Adoption Process...

We require every adopter fill out an adoption application. After the application is reviewed, reference & vet checked, home visit completed and you have been approved, we then will accept a deposit on the dog of your choice and we do require the balance of the donation be paid prior to transport or 48 hours prior to delivery. All our animals are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay or neutered, microchipped and the microchip already registered to the adopter at time of delivery.

Adoption Donations:
$295 Adult Dogs
$395 Puppies
$200 Special Need Dogs
