Cookie is a 5-year old Cocker Spaniel mix and she weighs 23 pounds. She was found as a stray and taken to a high kill shelter. Due to her matted hair they shaved her down. She has irritated skin that will need weekly medicated baths for the time being. She is a shy, quiet girl who is a little unsure right now, but she is coming out of her shell at her foster home. Cookie will need an owner who will have the time, love and patience to let her blossom in her own time. We feel she would do best in a home with older children because the excitement younger children bring might make her uncomfortable. She would do well in a home with another dog with a calm energy. Cookie is crate trained and 90% house trained.
