Cookie is a 5-year old Cocker Spaniel mix and she weighs 23 pounds. She was found as a stray and taken to a high kill shelter. Due to her matted hair they shaved her down. She had irritated skin under all that hair, but medicated baths helped and her hair is growing in nicely. She is a shy, quiet girl who loves to be in your lap. Cookie will need an owner who will have the love and patience to let her blossom in her own time. We feel she would do best in a home with older children because the excitement younger children bring might make her uncomfortable. She would do well in a home with another dog with a calm energy. Cookie is crate trained and house trained.
