Bounce's Story...
Hi, my name is Bounce and I am a beautiful longhaired gray tuxedo about 6 months old. I ended up at the pound when I was a tiny baby and sat in a cold cage for three weeks wondering where my mom was. I was in very rough shape when I was rescued. My foster mom nursed me every few hours and it was several weeks before she knew I would be okay. I like to play rough with my buddy Beni but with people I am a sweetheart, constantly seeking out attention with my sweet face, rubbing up against you, and curling up on your lap. I get along well with Beni and would make a good pair with him, but we don't have to be adopted together. I would really like to find a very special family that will totally cherish me and take good care of me.

Please apply online and ask my foster mom Kelsey all about me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bounce, a Richmond Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
