Meeting Paddington! When Paddington was born, he was pure white, like a little polar bear! Paddington needed a name that represented what a cuddly little bear he was, so Paddington it was! Gradually Paddington started looking more and more like his brother Corduroy, growing little colored spots! Our vet believes he and his brother Corduroy are Cattle Dog Red Heeler mixes (while their siblings Stormy and Tater Tot look more like huskies!) It doesn't really matter to us what Paddington is, as long as he knows he's loved unconditionally by his furever home. Paddington and his siblings were born to a family that didn't want them, so they left them outside in the cold where they became anemic and hungry. Luckily we were able to save them, bottle feeding them until gradually they learned to eat solid foods. Paddington was the smallest puppy, and had a hard time with the bottle. Now he's eating kibble like a pro, pouncing on his siblings, and loves to play! Paddington hopes to find a home that will spoil him with love and cuddles but he's much to cuddly for the crate, thank you very much! If you are interested in adopting Paddington, please start by filling out our adoption application and we will contact you shortly.

PLEASE NOTE: PADDINGTON IS BEING FOSTERED IN MEMPHIS, TN. Tennessee has a large number of dogs in need of homes, and adopts to Northeast furever homes! About One Good Deed - CT Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

One Good Deed Tn, Inc was started in April, 2013 by the Naquin family, who had been very active with volunteer activities and animal advocacy for many years. Many shelters and even humane societies claim to be "no kill," but we learned that the “no kill” provisions often had loop holes to allow for regular euthanasias. After losing a healthy, treasured foster dog to euthanasia, despite attempts by several people to adopt her and rescue groups attempts to pull her, we made the decision to start our own organization and make a difference "one good deed" at a time. We needed to do something good to honor our foster dog and decided on that day to start our own organization that would truly be for the good of the animals. One Good Deed Tn, Inc. will not put any animal to sleep for any reason other than as a last resort, on the advice of a veterinarian, for those pets whose suffering can not be cured and who by not humanely euthanizing would prolong its suffering.

We pull animals from all shelters, accept strays, work with other rescues who are too full, and provide medical services and foster care for all breeds of dogs until they are adopted into loving homes that are just right for their needs! We are also proud to assist other non-profit organizations with fostering, transport, and financial assistance for emergencies for both groups and individuals as our resources allow. One Good Deed Tn, Inc. believes that we can make a difference one good deed at a time!
