Goober's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Goober's Story...
Due to new babies in the home, Goober was brought to CRSD to find a less active, taller human home. He takes a bit to realize you are a friend and then likes to play tug-o-war with you. He is very good with his house manners and does well on a leash. Goober, born in 2009 and weighing in at 7 lbs, is looking for a wonderful family who will love him forever. If you have room in your heart and your home for this little guy and would like more info on him, please send in your completed application to adopt found at RescueAChi.com and we will call you for a meet up.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goober, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
