Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hey all! I'm Baxter! Nice to meet you!
I'm about 2 years old and they tell me that I'm one handsome dude!! I am an Australian Shepherd blend and I am full grown at 37 lbs, so I'm the perfect size. My perfect family would have other dogs, I LOVE to run and play with other dogs, fur brothers and sisters are awesome!! I'm afraid I might try to "herd" smaller, highly active children and sometimes get I spooked by them if they try to jump on me, so only older children for me please, if there are children in the home. I also seem to be partial to women and female children. Boys have been cruel to me in the past, so I'm trying really hard to trust them again.
I just want to let my new family know I'm here, I'm waiting for you. All you need to do is apply online www.RuralAnimalRescueEffort.org/adopt-foster
*Baxter's adoption fee is $200.00 and he is UTD on vaccinations, heart worm negative, on preventatives, neutered and micro-chipped.
**An application and home visit are required. Transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes. Please ask us for more information if you are not in Tennessee**
**All of our pets are or will be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Please complete the application on our website and we will call you to answer any questions you may have.**
Our adoption fees not only help the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heart-worm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need to be made available for adoption.
Thank you for choosing to adopt, foster, or aid in the rescue efforts of RARE!
*****AN APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT ARE REQUIRED*****
