Roscoe's Story...
Hi! I’m Roscoe, a 3-year-old, neutered male, Blue Heeler and weigh about 35 pounds. My current owners would like to find me a new home with a person or family that has time to play and run and hike, or maybe even learn how to chase a Frisbee.

I am a high-energy fellow that is very playful. I get along with the Beagle I currently live with, but it is unknown how I’d do with other dogs. I know the come, sit, and stay commands and am house trained. I love to play in the yard and can run for hours! If you’re up for an active partner that would love to go on adventures, I’d love to meet you!

If you think I’d be a good match for you, please contact Matt, 801-644-3933, for an application. My $75 adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, rabies, microchip, leash, and collar. A $37.50 deposit will hold me until a home check can be completed. The other $37.50 will be due upon taking me home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roscoe, a Ogden Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler for sale in Ogden, or seeking a Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Ogden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ogden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ogden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler breeders who help with Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ogden paves the way for another one to be saved.
