Hi, my name is Akiko! I am soft, lovable, and very, very pretty. I like to be petted and held and I am learning to be a lap cat. You could say I am a little sassy, I purr a lot and am a bit of a talker!  I really love my canned cat food but I will eat dry food too. I like chasing mice around the room and a few treats each day. I definitely need companionship of people because I don't like to be alone for too long. However, I would not like another cat to keep me company. I should be your one and only kitty and I promise to be worth it!

Akiko's foster mom thinks she would do best in a family without small children. Children should be 10+. She seems to startle with loud noises and sudden movements. We do not know how Akiko would be with dogs.

**Akiko is not good with other cats.

This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.

About G.R.A.S.P., Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times. G.R.A.S.P., Inc. is a non-profit organization and is completely dependent upon donations from the public.
