Precious was spoiled for the first couple years of her life. She was in the house and loved. But when her mom got married the new husband was jealous and kicked Precious to the curb. She was then "adopted" by a guy that kept her on a chain 24/7.
Precious wasn't spayed, so she stayed pregnant. Litter after litter died because her new owner didn't care for her or her puppies. When I met Precious I was determined to save her. She was very cold and on a short heavy chain with inadequate shelter. Her food was frozen to the ground and her bedding was an old frozen pair of jeans. She was miserable & severely neglected.
She didn't even have a water dish or food bowl. After weeks of negotiations, her owner finally agreed to surrender her. She was pregnant again, but unfortunately lost her puppies. Precious' heart has been broken so many times, but she still trusts & she still loves. Her life is wonderful now, thank God!
She's in a fabulous foster home and getting all the belly rub she desires. She's happy, healthy and a joy to be around. She's crate trained, house trained, adores kids and SOME other dogs. She's also a professional snuggler & car rider.
We are looking for a spectacular family for her that will continue to heal her sweet heart!
