BENTLEY (and his brother Barkley) were found in a cardboard box inside a ditch.....unbelievable but true. Other than being abandoned we don't know much about their history other than they are like beyond adorable!! They are very sweet and friendly little fellas and their tails never ever stop wagging. We estimate their birth date as Sept. 10, 2016 which will make them 13 weeks old on Dec. 10th. Also we cannot guarantee the specific breed(s) of our animals but we think they are a Fox Terrier/Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix and should be on the small to medium side when fully grown.

Bentley is the most lovable one of the two, likes to be held and will lay right next to you. He loves to play with the other dogs that live with him in his foster home and doesn't mind the feline species either. There are no small children in the foster home but he is so mild mannered and passive that he should adjust to them with no problem at all. To help him with the house breaking he is being crated when left alone and at night and weather permitting s being put outside on a regular basis so with the right owner and correct discipline he should master the technique rather quickly.

Prior to adoption Bentley will be examined by a vet, will be dewormed, will have a fecal test done, will be current on age appropriate vaccines, will be micro chipped and will already be neutered. His new owner will be responsible for any and all vet costs after adoption.

Bentley's adoption fee is $260.00 (cash or check only). ***THESE TWO BROTHERS DO EVERYTHING TOGETHER AND ARE VERY BONDED AND EVEN THOUGH IT IS NOT MANDATORY IT WOULD BE GREAT IF THEY COULD BE ADOPTED TOGETHER AND THE ADOPTION FEE WOULD BE SOMEWHAT REDUCED***

About RES-Q-ANGELS

About Our Rescue Group...

Res-Q-Angels” is a small non profit no kill animal rescue organization. We do not have a shelter but instead we rely solely on volunteers to foster our cats and dogs. For every animal our rescue group takes in we provide supplies for the fosters such as food, crates, blankets, newspapers, food and water dishes, and anything else that the foster may require while taking care of one or more of our animals.

Some of our animals have been taken out of abusive situations, were owner surrenders or simply not wanted. Most of our animals though are pulled from high kill shelters where they were ready to be killed either by euthanasia, gas chamber or the barbaric method of heart stick. Since we do not know what kind of life these animals experienced before or during their shelter stay many of them were more than likely exposed to illnesses which do not show up for at least 3-6 weeks later.

All of our animals are NOT adopted out until they have had their necessary vaccines for their age, have been dewormed twice, have had at least one fecal test, and have been spayed or neutered. Our cats are all combo tested for feline leukemia, aids and heartworm. Res-Q-Angels does its best to adopt out nothing but healthy and loving animals. But sometimes under unusual circumstances things happen that no one had any knowledge or control of.

None of our animals go up for adoption until they are ready socially and physically. Almost all of our felines are litter box trained, but not all of our canines are housebroken.

Res-Q-Angels operates solely on adoption fees and donations. Our vets do not perform their services for free and even though we do get a little bit of a discount the vet bills still accumulate. For every one healthy animal that we adopt out, there is always two or three that come along that require special needs or intensive care that sometimes requires hospitalization accompanied with the proper medicines and 24 hour care. Since we are a no kill rescue group we do everything in our power to help the ill or injured animal regain its health so it too can get placed into a wonderful loving forever home.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Donations are always accepted. Please mail checks made out to: RES-Q-ANGELS PO BOX 502 EASTPOINTE, MI 48021 Or bring donations to any one of our adoption events.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process consists of an online pre-approval application. Once we receive your application we review it and notify you promptly. We do require a vet check, a reference check and home visit/meet and greet before you are officially approved for adoption.
