Luke's Story...
Cuddle bug alert!!! Meet Luke, a 12 week old, 10 lb small boned Carolina Dog/Hound (best guess!) mix who is being fostered on Long Island and looking for a forever HOME. This small guy is a love bug who just wants to kiss, cuddle, and of course, play! He may be young, but he's very smart and learns new things quickly. He is going to make a wonderful family dog. He loves other dogs, as well as people of all ages, including little kids. Luke is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $425.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke, a GREENLAWN Carolina Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Carolina Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in GREENLAWN, or seeking a Carolina Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in GREENLAWN.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in GREENLAWN already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a GREENLAWN breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Carolina Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Carolina Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in GREENLAWN paves the way for another one to be saved.
