Honey Bear (Spayed)'s Story...
"Honey Bear" is a beautiful 3-year old female Terrier mix who was surrendered by her owner on November 9, 2016 with her housemates (Joey, Phoebe, and Winnie). "Honey Bear" has a tan short smooth coat with white highlights on her chest, a docked tail, and an adorable face with hopeful trusting eyes and large semi-erect ears. This young lady is as sweet as her name implies :) "Honey Bear" has a calm, quiet disposition and a gentle, affectionate personality. She loves attention and to be told what a 'good girl' she is. "Honey Bear" is the type of dog that you want to hold close and promise that she will find the best home ever. She isn't a very large girl and currently weighs 32.4 lbs. "Honey Bear" is being listed as a 'Special Needs Dog' since she has a ruptured right eye and likely has limited vision in that eye. "Honey Bear" was spayed on November 29, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey Bear (Spayed), a Marietta Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
