Buddy loves to go for long walks and take time out to check out all the new smells along the way. Buddy would do fine with another female medium or large dog since he has grown up with living with his litter mate brother and they play well together. Buddy prefers a home with no small dogs and no cats, children should be over 12 years old. Buddy is happy in his foster home, but would love to have a family of his own. To adopt Buddy please email silvar@msu.edu for an adoption application.

About Rottweiler Rescue of Michigan, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Rottweiler Rescue of Michigan, Inc., a 501 c 3 non-profit corporation, has been rescuing rottweilers for 50 years. Our wish is that every rottweiler have a loving and nurturing life-time home. Towards that end we are staunch supporters of spay and neuter until such time as no rottweiler will ever be exploited because they are so plentiful. All of our dogs are altered, on year-round heartworm prevention, microchipped, and have been treated for any and all pre-existing medical conditions including heartworm disease, orthopedic problems etc. We also offer a referral service to help owners place rottweilers they can no longer keep. We receive no government funding and depend entirely on contributions made by caring and generous animal lovers. All donations are fully tax-deductible and enable us to foster unwanted pets until we can find them new homes; provide medical care for sick and injured dogs; and subsidize low-cost spay and neuter surgeries so that we can continue to battle the overpopulation problem.
