Facts about Enid

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Gray Or Blue (Mostly)
  • Age: Kitten
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Enid is a mini-kitty! She was born to store cat who probably didn't get very good nutrition when she was pregnant and wasn't able to care for her kittens. Mom got healthy and was placed in a new home and Enid and her siblings were hand-raised by humans! There were some health challenges as their immune systems weren't strong but Enid is raring to go now and needs a home! She's playful and very sweet, gets along with other cats and kittens. She can be a little shy at adoption events but warms up to people quickly!

About North Brooklyn Cats

About Our Rescue Group...

North Brooklyn Cats specializes in taking in orphaned "bottle-babies" from other rescues and from the streets of our neighborhood. These tiny kittens require round-the-clock care and often don't do well in a shelter environment. We also rescue cats and kittens from the NYC kill shelters. Trap-Neuter-Release, TNR, is also a big part of what we do. The friendly straycats and kittens that are often found on the streets also become candidates for adoption. We have many years experience volunteering and working for shelters and rescue organizations in New York City.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We present a selection of cats and kittens for adoption every Sunday from 1 to 5 pm at Muddy Paws Pet Supplies, 447 Graham Ave., Williamsburg, Brooklyn. North Brooklyn Cats also works with other rescue groups, sharing resources, and participating in group adoption events whenever possible.

Our Adoption Process...

Cat and kitten adoptions require a $125.00 donation, which helps us cover the costs of delivering them already spayed/neutered, tested for felv/fiv, current on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for any health problems we were aware of. We generally require that kittens under five months of age be adopted in two's unless you already have another pet. Adoptions require an application that asks for two references and a contract. We deliver your new cat to your home, generally within a few days of getting your application. We are happy to help should you need advice or assistance with your new companion before or after the adoption.
