The Rhode Island Kittens are weaned, and mama has breathed a great sigh of relief, knowing that her motherhood days are behind her!

Providence has been spayed and is now available for adoption! This girl is affectionate & loving, but not too needy. She has the skill set to become an inside/outside cat and is probably an excellent mouser. She has nice house manners and keeps a neat litter box.

Providence is only about 1 year old and is healthy, fully vaccinated and, has been spayed. She also tested negative for FeLV & FIV.

Providence's adoption fee is $75.00 which covers her wellness check, age appropriate vaccinations, rabies shot and spay surgery.
PROVIDENCE, Domestic Short Hair & Tabby Mix has been shared from Shelter Exchange.

About Stephens County Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

We are a Humane Society and Rescue organization serving Stephens County, Oklahoma and it's communities. We work closely with local municipal animal control departments in providing shelter to abandoned, abused, and surrendered animals, and finding homes for as many adoptable pets as we possibly can. We stress spaying and neutering as the one key way to prevent unwanted puppies and kittens.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our Shelter is located at 714 Martin Luther King Ave., Duncan, Oklahoma 73533. Our current hours are:

Monday & Thursday : closed except for intakes
Tuesday & Friday : 12-6
Wednesday & Saturday: 12-4
Sunday: 12-2

We are closed all major Holidays

Our Adoption Process...

We use a simple adoption application/agreement. To complete the application process, we ask for reference letters from the adopting family's veterinarian and two character references. Adoption fees are $100.00 for dogs and $75.00 for cats. Fees include spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccination and age appropriate vaccinations.

We have 3 main requirements for our dog adoptions.
1- We require a fenced yard
2- If you rent, we require a letter from the landlord stating
pets are permitted in their residence.
3- If you have dogs currently, arrangements must be
made for a meet and greet to ensure all parties are
agreeable.
