According to her foster dad, Cora is an amazingly loving dog. She is grateful to be out of the shelter and in a loving home and makes an amazing lap dog. She requires lots of attention and belly rubs and will follow you around everywhere you go. Cora is not too much of a barker which is unusual and relieving for a Chihuahua.
Cora is house trained to go on wee-wee pads. She gets a little overexcited and nippy when interacting with new dogs or small children but settles down in time. Cora can get a little possessive of her bones but her foster family is working on correcting that behavior. Cora is a little hard of hearing so her foster dad is teaching her commands with hand signals and she is catching on quickly!
The perfect forever home for Cora is one that has experience with small dogs and their quirks. Children middle school age or older. Doggie siblings would need to meet to ensure they are a good match.
