Yoshi's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Yoshi's Story...
Yoshi is a ten year old neutered Pekingese cross male. He weighs about 12 pounds. He is very gentle-natured, and has a playful personality. Yoshi is lively, and likes to be where you are, but he's not needy, and gets along fine when you're busy or need to go out. Yoshi would love a securely fenced yard that he can wander around in and explore, but he prefers to stay inside. He would also be great to take on leisurely walks, or to sit and have coffee at an outdoor cafe with friends. Yoshi likes everyone, he has not been tested with cats. He is extremely smart and gets along very well on his own, even in new surroundings.

Yoshi is neutered, up to date on shots, and is taking heart worm and flea preventative. He was heartworm positive when we got him, but has been on the slow kill method of treatment and is doing very well. We expect him to make a full recovery.

The adoption fee is $150. For more information or to meet this pet and see others that are available call Barbara at 561-755-3118.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yoshi, a Brooksville Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in Brooksville, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in Brooksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
