And now a few words from my foster family:
Peyton is a very sweet and gentle little girl. She’s only been out of the puppy mill a short time, so she is trying very hard to learn how to trust people and appreciate that her world is so much better than it was before. In the last couple weeks, she has made remarkable progress. Peyton does crave company and will follow you around, at a distance, watching the action. It took a few days before Peyton was comfortable being picked up, but now she’s fine with it and hopefully she gets a belly rub out of the deal! Recently, she was a rock star at the Pet Expo where she was held and cuddled by tons of people. It really helped to bring her out of her shell and gain confidence.
Peyton loves going for walks, and she’s pretty good about doing her business on the walk. She’s trying to master the stairs, and is learning some commands. Peyton has now discovered toys and this has brought out her playful streak, so a companion dog in the home with the same level of energy is wanted for Peyton. If you have the time and patience to show this little girl how great life can be, you will be supremely rewarded by her accomplishments. She’s curious, smart and very cuddly. Peyton will bring lots of love, laughter and joy to your home. She deserves this second chance at life. Will you be the one willing to give her that?
