LOOKING FOR A CALM HOME: 1 year old / 9 lbs. Meet me Saturdays at 1 of our 2 Kennesaw locations from 11-4pm. Check for my location at www.mostlymutts.org after 5pm on Fridays. My name is Trisha, and I am very happy to have been rescued by the kind folks at Mostly Mutts. The volunteers and my foster family are caring and patient with me, which is good, because I was not crazy about shelter life and am adjusting to living in a home. I have some trust issues, and I have shown my teeth and bitten out of fear of in this new environment. I would be a nice fit for a small, quiet family with much older teens or, ideally, no kids. Maybe a calm home with a single person would be the best for me. I look forward to being a loving companion, once I feel safe and secure and can trust that everything will be okay. I’m becoming more playful, and once I trust you, I’ll be happy to cuddle. My potty habits are getting better, but I will need to be taken out on a regular schedule. I don’t like being in my kennel and only agree to go in there to eat. I’m nervous when a leash is being put on and taken off of me, so please be understanding of that. I like tennis balls and have chewed on a rope toy too. If you have another dog, perhaps we can meet. I get along with the other dogs in my foster home, but it was a slow introduction and I’m learning to be content with my foster siblings. I'm going to be so happy and grateful to my people once I'm nicely settled in my new home, maybe with you? Energy level: 4 – 6 once I’m comfortable in my new home. I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed and my adoption fee is $275.00.
