Franny's Story...
Franny is one of our senior citizens. We think she is around 13 years old and she weighs 5 lbs.
She is very quiet, loves to go for short walks, and uses a puppy pad when she doesn’t have the opportunity to go outside. She does not mind other dogs, large or small, but does not really want to play with them. She likes to watch TV with her foster mom, but most of the time she will sleep on her own little bed. She has just had a dental and would make someone a very nice companion. If you have room in your heart and your home for this quiet little senior, please send in your application found at www.RescueAChi.com and we will give you a call so you can meet Franny in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Franny, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
