Hi, I'm Lulu, a sweet young Sharpei mix about 1-2 years-old. I just arrived at my foster home from a rural shelter, and I think I hit the jack pot. There are FIVE kids in this house, and I love kids more than anything else in this whole world. I love to collapse in their laps and just get love from them, and I will whimper very quietly if a child walks by without stopping to give me love.
I am getting along okay with my foster dog brother, but I would prefer to be the only pet in my new home. I am working on house training and everyone is very proud of me - no accidents so far! I am learning to be in my crate and am doing very well in it at night.
When I first came into the shelter, I didn't know what a leash was and would just lie down, but now I love to go for walks, so they are calling me a fast learner. They also say I am a world-class snuggler and a love bug. While kids are my favorite, I love to snuggle with the big people, too.
If you think I might be the right dog for your home and your heart, please contact AARF at firstname.lastname@example.org.
