Dodger's Story...
Dodger is a friendly, but shy, 2 year old boy with a wonderful personality. Dodger is a bit on the shy side when you first meet him, so he may take a moment to warm up to you, but don't let that deter you from saying hello to this wonderdog! This handsome boy is playful and enjoys cuddling with plush toys and snuggling in a warm bed. Dodger seems to be alright with other dogs, but a meet and greet is required if there are other dogs in the inquiring household. Dodger would love to find a home for Christmas, so come check this loverdog out, today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dodger, a Martinsville Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Martinsville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Martinsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Martinsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Martinsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Martinsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
