Lady Diana (Spayed)'s Story...
"Lady Diana" is a regal-looking 2-year old female kitty who arrived at the HSOV on November 11, 2016 after a Good Samaritan found her on Washington Street in Marietta Ohio. She was wearing a pink collar when she was brought to our shelter, so surely someone must be searching for this little beauty. "Lady Diana" has a black long smooth coat with a small patch of white on her chest, a long fluffy tail, and a beautiful face with green/gold eyes, a black button nose, and extra-long black whiskers. "Lady Diana" has a calm, quiet disposition and is quite friendly. She was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on November 11, 2016. We hope that someone will recognize this sweet kitty and help us reunite her with her family. If "Lady Diana" is not reclaimed before November 16, 2016 we will have her spayed on that date and she will be available for adoption to a loving home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady Diana (Spayed), a Marietta Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
