I’m Vegas, a pretty Pitty Girl.  I was abandoned in a business complex, and I was so scared!  I don’t know why I wasn’t wanted.  I’m only a puppy – a real cutie with a brown-spotted white coat, and the sweetest golden-brown eyes!  I’m healthy, about 40 lb at 10 months, so I’ll be a good sized family dog when I’m all grown up!

When Foster Dad found me near his job, I very downcast and shy about coming to him, but he’s been so kind to me!  Now, my true nature is coming out – I’m a playful, loving little bundle of energy!  I really do love everybody – kids, cats, dogs – I’m ready to be pals with anyone and everyone!  I like toys too, and talk about CARS!  Let me in the car and I’ll somehow manage to take up the whole back seat all by myself!

My middle name could be LOYAL – when Foster Dad had to go out of town recently, I lay at the gate all day, hopefully waiting for him.  How I long to give all my love to my very own Forever Family!

Are you looking for a big-hearted, fun-loving girl like me, ready and eager to give you the unconditional love you deserve?  Here I am – come and take me home!

Thank you for considering adopting a new family member. Most of our adoptable dogs live inside foster homes.  Fostering teaches house manners, helps to potty/crate train and accustoms the dogs become familiar with the sights, sounds of living in a home environment.

About Dogs 2nd Chance - Munford

About Our Rescue Group...

Dogs 2nd Chance is a 501[c]3 non-profit dog foster group that was founded in the fall of 2007. We are a group of VOLUNTEERS that saw the need to help medium and large mixed breed dogs find permanent loving homes. We have evolved to help any size dogs. We are NOT a shelter. We receive no government funding and depend on our minimal adoption fees, donations and our own bank accounts.

All of our dogs are fostered in our homes and become a temporary active member of our family. Fostering helps to socialize the dogs, helping them adjust to life in a family setting. The majority of our dogs were abandoned, dumped or found running stray. We attempt to reunite lost dogs with their owners by placing ads in local newspapers and online classified ads. Additionally, we rescue dogs from high kill shelters as space allows. We are caring for the castaways by saving one dog at a time.

Our Adoption Process...

Online Adoption Questionnaire located at http://dogs2ndchance.org/adoption-application-form/

The adoption process includes filling out this questionnaire and signing an Adoption Agreement when the adoption is finalized. We check vet references, check with landlords and do home visits. All dog adopted must be family members not "just a dog".
