Meet Mopsie!  Mopsie is a precious 7-year old Yorkie.  She is a gentle, low-key girl who likes to relax quietly near her people. However, don't think that means that she's a couch potato! This girl LOVES to play with squeaky toys and can entertain herself for a while just chasing her toys. Check out her video to see her in action! Mopsie gets along fine with other dogs in the home (not sure about cats just yet). She came from a very busy household that was a bit too hectic for her so a quiet home with no children would be perfect for her. Mopsie doesn't really care for walks longer than a few minutes so a home with a fenced yard would be ideal. She is house trained.

Mopsie  had a dental so her teeth are all nice and clean for her new family. She also had bloodwork that shows that she is in excellent shape. This girl will make a loving and loyal companion. Don't hesitate to come meet her!

About Caring Hearts Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Caring Hearts Rescue is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization based in Fairfax Virginia. Our volunteers rescue toy breed dogs from desperate situations including neglect, puppy mill rescue, owner surrender and euthanasia by animal shelters due to overpopulation. All of our rescued dogs stay in safe foster homes while they await their "forever home." Our rescued babies are examined and given inoculations and spayed or neutered before placement. We search for families that understand the responsibility of being a Guardian to these little guys and consider them members of the family.

Come Meet Our Pets...

CHR facilitates all the meetings with your rescued dog. Potential adopters will make arrangements with a CHR representative to meet your foster dog. We then contact the foster parent to arrange a meeting at a convenient location for the foster parent.

Our Adoption Process...

The first step is filling out a application at the following address http://www.caringheartsrescue.org/Adopt.html . Click on the apply button under the dog you are interested in.

If you have pets, you will be required to provide medical records for your current pets as proof that they are up to date on vaccines, spayed or neutered and on heart worm preventative. We will contact you after this first step is completed. Thank you very much for your time!
