LOOKING FOR MY RETIREMENT HOME: 10 years old / 40 lbs. and needs to gain a few more lbs. Meet me Saturdays at 1 of our 2 Kennesaw locations from 11-4pm. Check for my location at www.mostlymutts.org after 5pm on Fridays. I’m a sweet and gentle girl who was found by animal control as a lost doggie. My family was located, but sadly they chose not to come and reclaim me. So I’m looking for someone who I can truly count on, someone who will give me the love and loyalty that I deserve. I’m a sweet and gentle girl, who likes everyone I’ve met and other dogs too. I’ve tested positive for Renal disease, so I’m on a special food to help a little with that. Because of that, my life expectancy is shortened, but I would love a happy and loving home to live out my years in comfort. I also have a very mild heart murmur 2 out of 6, but I just had my teeth cleaned and 11 were pulled, so we think that will get better and I don’t need medicine for it anyway. What I want is a retirement type home to live out the rest of my days, long or short, in love and comfort! I love to lounge on the couch in a pile of blankets. Due to my Renal problem I drink a lot and use the bathroom a lot, so I’ll need someone who is home a good bit to take me outside. Most of the time in my foster home I can hold it, and they keep me on a good potty schedule too! I’m good on my leash for walks, enjoy the sunshine, and I get a cute little bouncy step when I see other nice dogs and my people. It’s really quite adorable and puppy like! I love being petted and getting scratches too. I’m very good in my crate, and I go in and out of throughout the day. I’m not real needy—I’m very sweet and mind well. Though my foster family jokes about me having "selective hearing" on what noises I want to respond to. He he. But they also say that I’m a perfect senior doggie! Older kids please as I’m an older girl myself. Energy level: 3 – 5. I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. My adoption fee is $100.00.
