Bunky's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bunky's Story...
My name is Bunky and I am spunky! I just want to have fun all the time! And when I'm done with that, I love attention from my foster mom. I love all of the toys in my foster home and I like to play with my foster dog friends too. I am friendly, social and sweet. My foster mom is working with me on doggie manners (like jumping because I get so excited when I see people) and I am learning fast. I don't love my crate but I'm quiet when I'm in there and I've never had an accident in my crate or in the house! Do you need a great, playful dog to add some spunk to your family? Email info@habitat4paws.org on how to make me yours.

Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on adoption policies, please see the Adopt page on our website, www.habitat4paws.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bunky, a McKinney Labrador Retriever/Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane for sale in McKinney, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Dane dog from a breeder in McKinney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McKinney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McKinney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Dane breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McKinney paves the way for another one to be saved.
