Beethoven's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Beethoven's Story...
He may not look like a traveler, but this boy was on the run for over a month without any chaperonage. He survived cars and coyotes to land with JHR! Woot! This male, neutered, Bichon – Maltese cross weighs in at a tidy 12#. Beethoven is big on walks, belly rubs, squeaky toys, and hanging out with people, especially “his people.” He loves people and would prefer (in his ideal world) to be a lap dog. Beethoven is good with other dogs and really unsure what to think about cats. To be fair, many cats are bigger than Beethoven. We believe that Beethoven was potty trained at one time, but because he was on the run for a chunk of time, he is having to relearn good potty etiquette (although he uses a doggie door beautifully.) He appreciates treats as reinforcement for learning basic commands and walking nicely on the leash, although he can be a bit of a burro when he feels like it. Beethoven is a very low shedding dog, but will need grooming once a month to keep his fur and skin in tip-top condition. Beethoven currently resides in Idaho. Adoption fee is $350.00. Transport may be available to approved adopters. Contact Journeyhomerescue@outlook.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beethoven, a E. Wenatchee Bichon Frise/Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise/Maltese for sale in E. Wenatchee, or seeking a Bichon Frise/Maltese dog from a breeder in E. Wenatchee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in E. Wenatchee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a E. Wenatchee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise/Maltese breeders who help with Bichon Frise/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in E. Wenatchee paves the way for another one to be saved.
