The Helotes Humane Society is a non profit organization dedicated to placing unwanted animals in loving homes. Remember, don't shop, adopt!

This young boy , believed to be about 6 1/2 months old, was found wondering around in a Whataburger parking lot, scared and hungry.  Now  that he is fattened up and safe Diamond is the sweetest cat I've ever fostered. He  loves to let you know when he is hungry with lots of talking and he just loves attention.   He loves playing with his foster mate Colt. They make it fun to just sit and watch them play chase, wrestle with each other and also just relax and clean each other too.

Diamond is just a great cat.  Like I said, hands down one of the sweetest cats I've fostered.  And that has been a lot.

All of our adoptable animals come spayed or neutered, vaccinated appropriately for their age, wormed and micro chipped. Colt is also known as Sparkle, a name given him by a Be Kind to Animals Poster Contest winner.

If you would like to meet him contact HHS and they will get ahold of foster mom.  Applications for adoption can be filled out online at www.hhsanimals.org.

All of our animals receive vaccinations, testing and altering appropriate for their age. All pets will be microchipped prior to placement. The pet overpopulation problem has reached a crisis stage. We will use all of our resources to spay and neuter all pets in our care.
